LIBS STRIKE BACK!

I just heard something pretty funny. It turns out that one of the most popular questions posted online is "Can I Change My Vote?" Apparently, once the trumpers realized how they were going to be affected financially by their "dear leader" they panicked and thought they could change their vote. Sorry, but that's not how it works in America. But I guess they missed civic class the day that was taught.

What has gotten them up in arms, you ask? They are now learning the true meaning of tariffs, and who pays for them. A company on the East Coast told its employees that they would not be getting their Christmas bonuses this year. "Why?" asked these naive folks. The company informed them that it had to save money for the high tariffs they were going to be charged for all of those products they purchased from foreign countries. "What are tariffs?" they asked. When it was explained to them that tariffs are actually taxes, the employees were in shock because they thought "those other countries" would pay them! Ah, how quickly reality is setting in for these hapless Trump voters.

Other companies are laying off employees in anticipation of paying these tariffs. So, magas, how do you think that will affect you? Well, let's see, without your job, you won't be able to pay your rent or mortgage. You'll end up homeless, but don't expect the shelters to take you in since you probably won't be able to find any that are still open. What about your aging mother who needs her social security and Medicare to survive?

Trump is planning on cutting 2 trillion dollars from the budget. Where do you think that's going to come from? Yep, no more social security or Medicare for dear old mom.

I guess you'll just have to work harder to support her. Uh, oh, you won't be able to support her because you'll be unemployed. I suppose you could apply for unemployment benefits, but how long do you think that will last, assuming you can get them at all, of course.

Gee, sounds like life in America is going to be swell and all because of you!

When the sh_t hits the fan, and you need a handout, do you know what this Democrat is going to say to you? Awww, so sad, too bad.
